Our Technology:
Near-Field Communication Tag
Our core innovation is the development of the world’s first Near-Field Communication (NFC) tag that is resistant to the Induction Sealing process. This technology allows NFC tags to be embedded directly inside medication bottle seals, a critical location for security, without being damaged by the high-power electromagnetic field used during induction sealing. Traditional NFC tags are vulnerable to the ISP, forcing them to be placed on the outer wall of a bottle where they are susceptible to tampering. Our patented metamaterial antenna structure overcomes this technical challenge by providing shielding against the metal liner and protecting the NFC chip from the high induced voltage during the sealing process. This novel design is also ferrite-less, making it more economic than other on-metal tags.

Counterfeit drugs pose a significant threat to global health, patient safety, and the integrity of the pharmaceutical industry, causing an estimated $200 billion in annual economic losses. Our solution empowers consumers to instantly authenticate their medications using a smartphone (note requiring integrated camera), providing a highly secure tool to verify drug authenticity at any point, not just within the supply chain.
